Information

Join us in the East Howard Jaguars 7-on-7 Spring Passing League for 10U thorough 13U. Organized 7 on 7 is becoming one of the leading ways for students to learn and develop offensive and defensive skills, that will transfer to next fall 2024 in a non-tackle way.

Howard County Recreation and Parks is working with the Mid-Maryland Youth Football and Cheer leagues to develop a successful spring 7 on 7 program in the area with teams playing from around the surrounding counties. It allows coaches a way of teaching players basic passing, catching, and route plays in a non-tackle environment and helps maintain physical conditioning during the offseason.

Practice times will be at the team coach’s discretion, but it will usually not exceed 4 hours per week. Practice will begin early spring or second week of March and be at local Ellicott City/Elkridge grass or turf fields.

Games are tentatively set for Saturdays, April 13 – June 1, with playoffs and championships. Games are hourly, on weekends at East Columbia Lib ary grass fields.

Policies and rules are set by HCRP 7-on-7 Football League coordinator. Age determination date is August 1, 2024. No weight restrictions. Players will be placed on teams based on lowest age group eligibility. Program reserves the right to move registered players according to ability/age.
